Picture Freeze: Close your brower and then open it again - because this webcast is at a high bandwidth and of long duration, the cache on some computers may fill up after a time causing the freeze. Restarting the browser clears the cache.
Video buffering a lot: If you are constantly being interrupted by video buffering this indicates hat tyour internet connection has slowed down considerably. Please check whether other programmes are running or updating and close them down if possible. Please check the bandwith speed using the speed test link on the homepage, expecially if you are viewing over a shared or wireless connection.
Cannot click webcast link: You may need to press and hold CTRL key while clicking webcast links if some extra security measures are in place on your computer.
Cannot see all of screen: The webcast is designed for resolutions of 1024X768 and over. Please adjust your display setting.
Cannot view video: Please use the link on the front page to download and install a fresh version of the Windows Media Player and check that your connection speed is adequate.
Cannot see slide changes: If you have any problem seeing slide changes please open the main web page in Internet Explorer and view with this browser. Ensure you allow 'active content' if a warning message appears. Finally check your Windows Media Player settings (Tools/Options/Security) to check that running scripts and rich media commands has not been disabled - unclick these options if this is the case.
Cannot hear audio: Please ensure speakers are attached, computer has sound card, and all is working correctly. Consult your nearest computer expert if problems persist. Any other problems: Please contact your network administrator.
